Honestly, I haven’t tried Pares and I dunno what it was until Jonas invited me to try their newest branch at BGC. I’m very picky with the food I order but since Beef Pares is their best seller and specialty, and I’ve had a lot of “firsts” this year, I said, why not? So glad I tried it coz the beef was so “melt in your mouth” thingy and the sauce was just what I expected, sweet.
I haven’t been to their other branches but I’m pretty much sure that this one in BGC is a cozier place to be since it’s situated in a posh vicinity.
Curious about the food? Here goes!
Just a few of what we ordered but lemme give you a more up close experience and details of my favorites below.
The Original Jonas Beef Pares, simple but wait til you get a taste of that mouth-watering beef and sweet sauce. They said it’s best paired with rice but I ate it without. Otherwise I won’t be able to stop and be full immediately and there were a lot of other dishes to try.
Gosh, this Chicken Salted Egg Yolk is to die for hahahaha.. Love this dish, I think I was able to finish a bowl! So yummy!
Another fave dish was this Jonas Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. A bit hot but totally tolerable for me. It wasn’t just salt & pepper that I tasted, there was something else which made this more appealing for me. Just can’t put my finger on the ingredient lol.
I so love Salmon Fillet and I always order it whenever available. I can actually gobble it all in one sitting hahahaha. It was most probably steamed and drizzled with soy & sesame. Perfect!
There are a lot more dishes at Jonas BGC, not just the above. You must drop by and try their specialty Beef Pares coz I heard that it’s also their best-seller in all their other branches and that people are lining up just for that.
Also, they’ve amped it up with a Friday Night Acoustic, you know gimmick nights with your friends. Plus you can request songs and sing-along too!
So, if you’re in the neighborhood, visit them at The Fort Strip on the 28th Street of Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
